Engage, Motivate and Progress

Join us as we explore the world of interactive learning using Roland pianos. Presented with traditional teaching in mind, this session will take a “How To” approach and utilize the latest Roland technology for teachers and students. We will share ideas and examples of tools to increase student engagement, improve practicing, and help keep momentum going with lessons. Filmed using multiple cameras and video mixer, this session serves as an example for remote teaching or video creation and will explain equipment and setup procedures as well.

About the Presenters

Kathryn Lounsberry

Kathryn Lounsbery holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano. She has taught for 20 year and held faculty positions at several universities. Her creativity has made her a sought-after teacher, coach and collaborator.

Laura Zaruta

Laura Zaruta has a master’s degree in piano pedagogy and has used technology with her students for more than 10 years. She also enjoys working with educators across the country as a clinician for Roland U.S.
