State Affiliate of the Year Award

MTNA State Affiliates may apply for this $1,000 award. The application deadline is November 1, 2012.

The State Affiliate will need to supply the following items for the application:

• An explantion of why the affiliate should be named MTNA State Affiliate of the Year (100 words or less).
• A description of State Affiliate activities, including items such as state conference, professional development, outreach, student activities and the like (250 words or less).

MTNA National Headquarters will supply the following information to the selection committee (based on July 1, 2011–June 30, 2012):

• Membership Growth/Retention
• MTNA Foundation Contributions
• Collegiate Chapters—current and newly established
• MTNA Professional Certification:
• Total number certified—percent of total membership
• Number of newly certified
