Call for Teaching Videos
At the Symposium, a selection of videos will be presented during a teaching master class. The planning committee seeks teaching segments of 8–10 minutes in private and group keyboard lab settings. Clinicians will critique videos and engage teachers in a positive/constructive dialogue about their teaching.
- Private lesson videos: The recording should be focused on a single segment of the lesson. Students of any age and level are eligible.
- Group keyboard lab videos: Recordings should focus on a single segment and include one or more creative ways to engage the keyboard lab classroom. Please ensure to capture the projection (if used) and as many students as possible in the video.
- A copy of this Video Authorization Form signed by students or parents/guardians (if applicable) is required with submission.
- Recording guidelines: Record in landscape (horizontal) orientation. Take care to ensure adequate lighting, clear audio and a background that isn’t overly distracting. MP4 and MOV formats are acceptable
- Teachers are limited to submit 1 private lesson video and 1 group keyboard lab video.

Attendee Recital
The 2025 Symposium will include a live, in-person attendee recital on Saturday evening! Selections must be five minutes or less in length. Verbal introductions will not be included in the concert. Solos, duets and ensembles are welcome! The recital hall will have two pianos to allow for two piano works to be performed.
To be considered to perform on the recital, performers must submit the following:
- Contact information: name, institutional affiliation (if appropriate), email, phone for each performer.
- Repertoire information (composer’s name, movement numbers, tempo markings of the movements and exact timings (5 minutes or less).
- A link to a YouTube video of you performing your proposed selection.
