Performance Winners/Representatives


Congratulations! As the division winner/representative, there are several steps you need to take leading to the MTNA National Competitions Finals. Should you have questions, please contact the National Coordinator.

Step 1: Competition Information Download and familiarize yourself with the following information about the MTNA National Competitions Finals and the MTNA National Conference. Be sure to select the appropriate level.

Step 2: Collaborative Pianist Form
Deadline: January 17, 2025
Step 3: Make Travel Plans
  • Plan to arrive at the competitions site no later than 12:00 noon on your rehearsal day and leave no earlier than 6:00 p.m. on the concert day.
  • Hotel information can be found on the MTNA Conference website.
  • Competitors are responsible for all expenses.

National Composition Finalists


Congratulations on being named a National Composition Finalist! You must complete Step 1 below. Should you have questions, please contact the appropriate National Coordinator.


Step 1: Competition Information Form
Deadline: January 13, 2025
The Competition Information Form asks for bio information, photo and information about your local television, newspaper and other media outlets. MTNA uses this information to publicize the National Composition Competition winners.



Performance Alternates

Congratulations on being named a division alternate. Right now you do not need to do anything. Should the winner be unable to compete at the National level, you will be notified and offered an opportunity to compete.
